Visit us on IG @mtbakerglacierchalet Escape to the quiet wooded town of Glacier, WA, the closest town to Mt Baker Ski Area. An easy scenic 2.5 hour drive from Seattle transports you to the lush emerald trees for tranquillity and serenity in Mt Baker National Forest. Our cabin is approximately 1500 sq ft. Cozy, but roomy enough for a group of up to 6. Inside, our cabin features a warm and inviting atmosphere with rustic wood paneling, comfortable furnishings, and all the modern amenities you need to feel right at home. You'll love cooking up a storm in our well stocked kitchen, relaxing by the cozy fireplace, making s’mores in the enchanted forest, or soaking in the hot tub under the starry night sky. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway for two or a family vacation with the kids, our Glacier Airbnb is the perfect choice for your next mountain retreat. Our goal is to provide you with the most relaxing experience from pre check in to check out. Every detail has been considered for your convenience and comfort. We take pride in our family cabin, and want you to sit back and breathe in the forest air. Book now and experience the beauty and serenity of the Pacific Northwest like never before! **We are one of the two gated communities with cabins near Mt Baker. Unfortunately, our HOA does not permit non cabin owners to use the pool or community center. We will also require names of guests and make and model of cars to register your stay.

Other Details to Note

FIRE BURN in effect for summer. Use of outdoor fire pit is not allowed Wi-Fi/Cell: There is no cell service 10 miles out of Glacier. Please ensure you download maps, pertinent information, and prepare to be without internet and phone service. We have 5mbps internet at the cabin that is good for streaming a movie. We do not recommend working from home here due to the spotty Wi-Fi Pets: we love pets, we can allow a max of 2 dogs at $110 each. We don’t allow cats due to allergies. If you don’t disclose to us for us to properly line up extra cleaning, this can result in a $250 fee. Hot tub: we thoroughly clean the hot tub between each guest. Please shower/rinse off to remove dirt, mud, lotions, soaps, etc in the water. Absolutely NO salts, bath bombs or bubbles allowed. You can save that for the indoor bath tub. NO glass to avoid accidents. Please use plastic cups. Please review and decide if this is a fit for you and your guests. Failure to do so might lead to draining and extra extensive maintenance which would result in extra $200 fee. During summer months, there may be burn bans that are out of our control For winter months, we have a whole house back up generator for power outages in addition to a wood burning stove. Please note wifi outage may still be affected Check out instructions: -Please put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and run a cycle. Knives and pans are hand wash only -Please start a load of towels on quick wash setting -Please leave both gate cards on the kitchen counter

Accessibility

Neighborhood

Our home is in the Mount Baker Rim gated community. Because of the remote location and lack of cell service, we kindly ask that you check in between 4-9pm for a smooth experience. Unfortunately, our HOA does not allow for non cabin owners to use the community amenities such as the pool, tennis courts, etc. You will have plenty to do on our property and the hikes in our area! We are 30 mins from Mt Baker Ski area and many popular hikes. We recommend getting groceries prior to arriving. Coffee- Wake n Bakery, Joe’s Fine Coffee. Restaurants- Graham's, Gunner's Tex Mex, Chair 9, North Fork Brewery. Shopping- Graham’s Grocery, Crossroads Grocery

Guest Access

Private access to our deck, hot tub and fire pit. We do no allow parties and kindly ask to move inside or turn off music at 9pm not to disturb full time neighbors and avoid HOA fines

We loved our stay at Glacier Chalet. It was such a warm and inviting home, stocked with fun games, books, records and toys for the kids. We enjoyed the outdoor space- the hot tub was all ready for us and was so clean. The beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We are already planning another trip next year!

Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood, very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Great outdoor seating and hot tub, comfortable living room and dining area. Well outfitted kitchen. Excellent communication with the host. Highly recommend. We very much appreciated that we could charge our EV.

This cabin was absolute perfection! It was one of the most well-stocked AirBnB's we've stayed at, from the kitchen and bathrooms to the comfy beds and thoughtful touches for our pups. We spent most of our week relaxing on the comfy couch, cooking up delicious meals, playing games or puzzling at the dining table, and soaking up the super cozy outdoor area in the hot tub. Salena was an extremely responsive and friendly host to work with, and we'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome nature getaway close to Mt. Baker!

Excellent place to stay. Private, peaceful, and beautiful area. MANY small touches that made the place comfortable and interesting. Excellent communications, and detailed information was provided. Salena even responded immediately to an evening request for entry through the community gate after we had forgotten our access cards. Highly recommended to anyone, and we will stay here again if we return to the area.

My husband and I had the most beautiful experience in this home. The space is spotless, so well organized, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—even thoughtful touches like face wash and the most delicious-smelling shower spray. The environment truly promotes a sense of calm and connection, while also being the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. We’re so thankful for our time here and so grateful to our host. We will definitely be back!
